Writers' Network

About us

The UTS:Alumni Writers' Network is a friendly place where writers can gather for inspiration and support. The Network is a non-structured forum with the opportunity to email other members as and when desired, whether this be to exchange critiques, seek support or chat via email.

The objectives of the Writers' Network are to exchange stories and ideas, disseminate news, extend mutual support as fellow writers, and to give and receive constructive criticism of writing in progress (on a strictly voluntary basis). We hope that through the sharing and analysing of each other's work in a supportive atmosphere, those who join the group will find that their writing skills improve.

The Writers' Network is facilitated by a UTS graduate who has over 15 years' experience as a published writer (fiction and non-fiction), plus 10 years' experience teaching writing courses for James Cook University, TAFE OTEN-DE and The Central Coast Community College. She has also facilitated workshops for Newcastle University Writers' Camps, The NSW Writers' Centre and writers' groups around Australia.
