The NSW Government has given planning approval for Frank Gehry's first Australian building. With major work beginning mid year on the new home for the UTS Business School, a Business Advisory Board made up of 14 prominent chief executives and company directors has also been launched.

At the cutting edge of health
The Federal Minister for Health (and Luminary) Tanya Plibersek has opened a $4.8 million clinical laboratory facility – the largest nursing and midwifery education facility in NSW – at UTS. The state-of-the-art facility features nine simulated clinical settings and will accommodate more than 900 students each year.
