Animals, Conservation and Ethics

UTS: Centre for Compassionate Conservation event

Join the UTS: Centre for Compassionate Conservation on Tuesday 10 November for a free public lecture exploring ethical issues in the treatment of animals by humans.

Concern for animals today is ever growing, yet paradoxically, humans are killing animals at an unprecedented rate.  The event, titled Animals, Conservation and Ethics, will feature Dr Jonathan Balcombe, Dr Siobhan O’Sullivan and Dr Arian Wallach as guest speakers. The lecture will outline new scientific insights about animals' inner lives, showing them to be keenly perceptive, cognitive, aware, and sensual.

Don’t miss this important discussion.

This is a complimentary event but a suggested donation of $15 will be put towards research to help improve the conservation and welfare of wild animals.
