UTS is pleased to invite you to attend a presentation by Westpac CIO, Dave Curran, on the digital revolution and the future of IT in Australia, at 6pm on Wednesday 22 July.
As Westpac approaches its 200th birthday in 2017 it is enhancing its digital capabilities and thinking and acting like a 200-year-old start up.
Dave Curran will outline what he sees are the many new opportunities these changes will have for the Westpac Group and the Australian economy at large.
About the Speaker
David Curran was appointed as Westpac Group's Chief Information Officer in September 2014, after joining Westpac in February 2014 as a consultant on the Group's banking technology modernisation program. David has almost thirty years' experience in IT and financial services and the implementation of large, complex projects.
Before joining Westpac, David spent ten years in senior roles at the Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CBA). Before joining CBA, he spent sixteen years as a Partner at Accenture, primarily consulting on financial services.
