Christmas Luncheon 2016

Kuring-gai Staff Alumni Network

Following yet another successful Christmas luncheon in 2015 when Ken Doyle was our Guest Speaker, we will again be holding our 2016 function at Pymble Golf Club on Tuesday 22nd November.

This year our Guest Speaker will be Emeritus Professor Christine Deer who was appointed initially as Head of School of Teacher Education at Kuring-gai, prior to the amalgamation, then as UTS Professor of Teacher Education following the amalgamation.

Since her retirement Chris has been travelling extensively overseas and will present us with her reflections on some of her recent tours.

Lunch will again be the traditional Christmas fare, roast turkey with all the trimmings, followed by dessert of ice cream Christmas pudding with wild berry coulis, pashmak and almond bread, coffee and mints. The lunch will be held in the Club’s lounge, adjacent to the main dining room.

Pre-lunch drinks will be served on the balcony overlooking the 18th green. Red and white wines and soft drinks will be served with lunch.

As usual, our irrepressible MC, Professor Bill Ticehurst, will convene his favourite barrel girls to award Alumni prizes during the lunch.

Once again, we have been fortunate that Pymble Golf Club has agreed to keep our cost the same as the past five years at $55.00 per head

Pymble Golf Club is located less than 100 metres along Cowan Road from the traffic lights on Mona Vale Road, Pymble. Please drive up to the automatic opening gates where you will find parking adjacent to the club entrance.

We look forward to seeing you.
