UTS Shopfront is turning 20!
Did you work on a Shopfront Project during your studies? Or have an interest in the community, social enterprise or not-for-profit sector?
You’re invited to this special celebration of 20 years of UTS Shopfront Community Program and the graduation of the 2016 UTS SOUL Award recipients for student volunteering.
Starting out as a small, social justice initiative in 1996, Shopfront has now delivered more than 1,000 free, community-initiated projects and an additional 50,000 hours of student volunteering in the community sector. The program is globally recognised for leadership in the scholarship of university-community engagement through open source research publications and Gateways: International Journal of Community Research and Engagement.
