Following yet another successful lunch in 2016, when Professor Christine Deer was our guest speaker, we will again be holding our 2017 function at Pymble Golf Club on Tuesday 21 November 2017.

We have invited Michael Barnacoat to be our guest speaker. Born in Norfolk, UK, Michael migrated to Sydney in the early 1960s and following teaching experience in Sydney, he was appointed to William Balmain College and ASOPA, and subsequently Kuring-Ggai.

Mike was a professional actor participating in over 70 TV commercial productions since 1965.

After leaving UTS he became involved in interactive multimedia and was winner of the 1994 International Television Association Mobie Award. He also was involved extensively in satellite-based education with Aussat.

Lunch will again be the traditional fare, roast turkey with all the trimmings followed by dessert of ice cream, Christmas pudding with wild berry coulis, coffee and mints. The lunch will be held in the Club's lounge, adjacent to the main dining room.

Pre-lunch drinks will be served on the balcony overlooking the 18th green, and red and white wines and soft drinks will be served with lunch.

As usual, our MC will be our Vice President, Professor Bill Ticehurst, who will convene his favourite Barrel Girls to award Alumni prizes during the lunch.

Once again, we have been fortunate that Pymble Golf Club has agreed to keep our cost the same as in the past 6 years at $55 per head. Please register no later than Tuesday 14 November 2017.
