City Shaping Transport - Zunz Lecture Series

A digital revolution is transforming the transport industry, improving what we know about movement and passenger preferences and better serving commuters.

This is influencing major shifts in our cities and the way we use them.

Arup’s Global Transport Leader Isabel Dedring spent five years transforming the way people move around London as Deputy Mayor for Transport at the Greater London Authority, and will bring her expert knowledge to this year’s Zunz Lecture, addressing the theme – City Shaping Transport.

Joining Isabel in a Q&A discussion, moderated by Arup Principal's Dr Richard Sharp, is a panel of experts from all corners of the transport and planning industry.

    • Paul Oppenheim - Managing Director, Plenary Group
    • Alice Thompson - experienced public policy practitioner and former Senior Advisor, Cities & Infrastructure, Office of the Prime Minister
    • Elizabeth Mossop - Dean of Design, Architecture & Building, University of Technology Sydney
    • Tony Braxton-Smith - Deputy Secretary, Customer Services, Transport for NSW

Richard will extract the breadth of perspectives from our panel, using examples of current developments and new possibilities to fully explore the transformation of transport in a global city.
