Spread the word: Goodbye Kuring-gai Reunion Event
7 October 2015
Do you have colleagues or classmates from your days at Kuring-gai who might like to know about our alumni reunion and farewell event in November? Please spread the word so they don’t miss out!
Plans for our ‘Goodbye Kuring-gai’ afternoon of reunions, tours and capturing memories are well underway! When we transitioned from Kuring-gai College of Advanced Education (KCAE) to UTS some early graduate records were not updated and over the last twenty five years we have lost contact with a number of alumni.
So we’re asking you to help share the news with your networks so they can attend the Kuring-gai farewell event or just get back in touch so we can help keep everyone connected.
We’re inviting alumni and staff, past and present, to visit the campus anytime between 2-5pm on Saturday 7 November where there will be afternoon tea, campus tours, a pop up artwork gallery, photos from the past and a memory wall to fill, if you wish to bring photos or other memorabilia to leave – and more! Friends and family are also warmly welcome.

If you are keen to reunite with staff and graduates from your course or disciplines, including Nursing, Education, Information and Library Studies, Leisure, Sport and Tourism, Law, and Business, then make sure you are there between 3-4pm when you can meet up with colleagues in designated areas.
Nursing's 30th anniversary
If you studied nursing at Kuring-gai, then it’s a doubly historic moment as we mark nursing's 30th anniversary!

For educators there’ll be music, our popular puppets on display and a range of other fun activities. Sports, Business, Law, Information and Library Studies will all have items and photos on display for guests to enjoy.
Most importantly, it will be a fantastic chance to reconnect with the people with whom you worked and studied and the opportunity to catch up and share the campus one last time. Even if your friends and fellow classmates can’t attend the event, we invite them to reconnect as we plan to keep the network and spirit of Kuring-gai alive well into the future. Help us spread the word!
