UTS Alumni celebrate at Singapore Reunion
Professor William Purcell, UTS Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Vice-President, International and Advancement, welcomed UTS graduates living in Singapore to the 2014 UTS International Alumni Reunion last week, amid the beautiful tropical surrounds of the Singapore Botanic Gardens.
The evening also marked the official signing of an MOU between UTS and the Australian Alumni Singapore (AAS), with the aim of fostering the growing community of alumni from Australian universities living in Singapore.
The Australian High Commissioner to Singapore, His Excellency Philip Green, and AAS President Chris Cheah welcomed the signing of the memorandum, and reaffirmed their commitment to promoting education and networking opportunities between Singapore and Australia.
UTS joins seven other Australian universities to become full members of AAS.
