UTS's 200,000th graduate

This month, at the spring graduation celebrations, we welcomed our 200,000th graduate into the UTS alumni community. We're have a range of exciting upcoming events, including the return of award-winning UK stand-up comedian Deborah Frances-White as part of our Alumni Professional Development Series and a special London alumni event exploring 'What We Can Learn from Brexit'.  You can also read about UTS alumni successes across a wide variety of industry sectors and the UTS Annual Appeal.

This month, we welcome a new Deputy Director of Alumni Relations. We also have a range of thought-provoking events, including two UTSpeaks public lectures highlighting fascinating research breakthroughs in the treatment of spinal cord injury and for survivors of stroke, and the start of the UTS Annual Appeal.

From an emerging filmmaker's project getting selected by The Weinstein Company for development to a music therapist's healing work at a children's hospital – our graduates are making an impact. Also, our campus continues its transformation with the latest university announcement to redevelop UTS's Building 2.

In this issue, we announce the ground-breaking partnership between UTS and the Australian Indigenous Education Foundation to provide scholarships for indigenous students.
