"This is a sweeping generalisation, but young people don’t own TVs," says Graeme Mason, former UTS Communications student and now head of Screen Australia. “There’s been a fundamental shift in who consumes things and how. Broadcasters and makers, and funders of films and television like us, have to be cognisant of that, and adapt.”

One cannot fully appreciate this achievement without understanding the environment it operated in and the humble beginnings of its founder and CEO, UTS alumnus Li Hua Tong.

Dr Daniel Sabater-Hernández, a researcher in UTS’s Graduate School of Health, has made it his mission to enhance the pharmacist’s contribution to society. He is  working to create a community pharmacy service that could reduce the burden of cardiovascular disease (CVD) for patients and the health system.
